I made this animation about five years ago and I still don’t know why it became so popular. It has reached more than one million views on YouTube! Some people like it, but there’s a lot who doesn’t and they can be seen in the comments section.

I remember doing the drawings for this animation at some boring History of Industrial Design classes when I was on college. I scanned the drawings at home and I painted them on the computer. I didn’t even have a tablet. Here are the originals:

This animation was my graduation project. I made it in 2010 and I spent aproximately three months to finish it. I always loved to make everything in my animations: from the sketch to the finished artworks and sounds. I did not create the sound effects for this one, but the voices are mine and the music was produced by me (I used to have a band and play guitar). Now that I’m going to focus 3D I don’t know if I’ll have time to produce more 2D animations. But I’ll try.
