In the last class we learned how to create a folded skirt using the Cloth modifier. I think that everything related to cloth simulation is a bit tricky, but maybe it’s because I’m starting on it. Here I’ll show some screens of the process with no technical terms.
Everything starts with simples lines:
Then I add volume and adjust the position of the parts around the model:
Now I connect the parts with seams:
After that, the seams start connecting the parts:
When all the parts are connected, the skirt follows the gravity direction:
That’s the end of the process:
And that’s the final result:
